{Lollipop Cake} Idea

Now this is a super fabulous idea *Because it was mine!!!*

TIP: This is such a great idea for cakes for school and preschool!

This creation is a lollipop cake! I went to the cheap (go-lo, Sams... whatever) shop, picked up a very large bag of lollipops.

Step 1) Grab some cardboard (doesn't matter what from, it will be covered anyway)
Step 2) Grab a plate for a template and cut a circle "cake sized"
Step 3) Cut some long, skinny ("cake height sized") strips of card and use some good strength tape to join the long skinny strip to the circle top (I know! Technical eh!?!)

Step 4) Get a box cutter and stab many many holes in the top of your cardboard cake, be sure that they are not so big that the lollipops fall over when slipped in.
Step 5) Fill the whole lot to bursting!
Step 6) Grab some streamers and cover up your cardboard cake, add a bow, a cardboard flower, or something even more fancy!

Step 7) Add an optional candle and send to school to an astounded teacher who will say something along the lines of "Oh Mell! This is so wonderful!!! You are so creative!!! And no carpet stains from cake... I LOVE IT!!!" *or something like that :D*
